Graham Linehan and Adam Buxton Pilot New Si-Fi Sitcom ‘The Cloud’
If, like me, you are a fan of both Graham Linehan and Adam Buxton, then this writing collaboration is good news for you.
‘The Cloud’ will be a sitcom from space, set on Cloud Station 13 which is a hub to store all valuable information that a modern generation has created on various devices – mostly selfies, pictures of kittens and porn.
Buxton will star as part of the crew, alongside Aisling Bea and Jamie Demetriou. The pilot will be produced and directed by IT Crowd’s Richard Boden, who also worked closely with Linehan on The Walshes and Count Arthur Strong.
The pilot has been commissioned by Nerys Evans, deputy head of comedy at Channel 4, and the decision to turn The Cloud from pilot to series will be made later this year.
